About Myra
Myra Rosen is Principal and Executive Search Consultant at JBK Associates International, a woman-owned, global executive search firm that is a leader in the recruitment and retention of diverse talent across the spectrum of industries and functionalities. Myra is a passionate advocate for women to attain leadership ranks. She is a volunteer mentor and coach for many senior executives and aspiring leaders and she serves as strategic advisory and/or Board member to organizations and industry associations to provide guidance and support for driving business growth through leadership and talent management.
Prior to joining JBK Associates International Myra held the position of Corporate Officer and Head of International Human Resources for PHC Holdings Corporation as a member of the Executive Management Committee. Myra, based out of Parsippany, NJ, was responsible for leading geographically dispersed human resources teams who provided strategic and operational support for three global business units (Ascensia Diabetes Care, diabetes medical device; Epredia, cancer diagnostics; and PHC Corporation's biomedical life sciences business) with approximately 4,000 employees in 32 countries worldwide. PHC Holdings Corporation, a $3B business, is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan and was majority owned by private equity firm, KKR & Co., Inc. PHC Holdings Corp is now an independent public company.
Myra was also concurrently Chief Human Resources Officer for Ascensia Diabetes Care since it was divested from Bayer HealthCare in 2016. During this time she also had responsibility for Global Corporate Communications. At Bayer she was Divisional Vice President of Global Human Resources and a member of the Executive Management team for the €2.5B Medical Care division, with oversight for global human resources strategy for approximately 4,200 employees worldwide in the Diabetes and Radiology device and pharmaceutical portfolio. Prior to joining Bayer in early 2006, Myra was President of her own company, MLR Coaching, Inc. As a Leadership Coach and Management Consultant for five years she supported high performing corporate executives in Fortune 100 companies and small business owners to maximize their personal leadership and organizational effectiveness.
Before creating MLR Coaching, Inc., Myra's corporate experience included ten years at Medco Health Solutions, Inc., a former subsidiary of Merck and Co., Inc. and now Express Scripts, as a Senior Director, Human Resources where she led teams of business partners and provided senior human resources/internal coaching support to the Corporate business units. Throughout her tenure, she worked with all functions, including Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Operations, Finance and Information Systems, in a variety of assignments which included recruitment, employee relations, compensation, training, and organization development work. Previous human resource experience included working for Saks Fifth Avenue, at their corporate office in New York City, and at Worldwide Insurance Group, a property and casualty insurance company in St. Louis, Missouri. While pursuing her undergraduate education, she worked in the healthcare and advertising industries.
Myra earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Business Management from the State University of New York at Albany. Myra is also professionally trained by one of the largest and most comprehensive training programs for the finest coaches, Coach U International. Myra has been a Past President of both the Business and Professional Women, Bernardsville, NJ Chapter and the National Association of Women Business Owners, North Central Jersey Chapter (NAWBO NCJ). She is an active member of Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL), the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), the International Coach Federation, and the Society for Human Resource Management.
